Jah Prayzah drops bombshell on MTM

There have been a lot of reactions to Jah Prayzah’s press statement on the dissolution of his prestigious brand Military Touch Movement. The artist recently announced that he had set free the various artists that were signed under his brand. Jah Prayzah said he had come to realize that recruiting new artists ha tainted his brand and he decided to dissolve the union.

Military Touch Movement was a brand that incorporated artists such as Nutty O, ExQ and Dj Tamuka. It was famous for the release of songs such as Checheche which dominated the charts. Jah Prayzah had helped nurture young talent under the brand. He, however, expressed that it was time for him to let them be their own.

Jah Prayzah received a lot of nasty stories with regards to his brand which eventually led to one artist, Tahle wedzinza withdrawing from the group. It was alleged Jah Prayzah was siphoning money from the artists, an allegation which he vehemently denied as evidenced in his letter. He said he did not owe any money to the artists nor had he collected any money from them. His major aim was simply to groom artists to become successful in the music industry.

Fans applauded the singer for acting so modestly and with so much maturity. They also commended his vision of uplifting other artists. A few, had negative responses to his press release.

Jah Prayzah is one of the most celebrated artists in Zimbabwe. He boasts of an impressive career having collaborated with artists such as Diamonds Platinumz and Mafikizolo. His recent album Hokoyo has also been positively received by fans.
