Mambo’s chicken under fire for marketing gimmick

Mambo’s chicken has come under fire following the release of its rather controversial adverts. The chicken and burger franchise is known for its catchy advertising gimmicks which have always dominated the social media space.

Their recent adverts have however been branded as too explicit and the prominent chicken house is said to be too desperate to get attention.

Mambo’s usually capitalises on current events such as the downfall of a celebrity, the sacking of a high profile person and at times popular scandals. They will then fuse the events with their own promotional meals as a marketing tool. Some of them are so hillarious that they captivate social media users.

The recent ads have however fallen short of glory as evidenced by scathing social media attacks from fans. They have labelled the ads as inappropriate

Mambo’s seems no to have heeded to calls by the general populace to tone down their advertising strategy. They are still unleashing similar marketing content such as the one below. Others have castigated them for trying to be too creative thereby losing relevance in the process
