Several companies have had their employees infected with the virus. Ok supermarkets, Pick and Pay, Zupco and Cimas have all confirmed cases at their premises. The country currently has over 4000 confirmed cases of the disease. The increase in the number of cases prompted government to impose a national lockdown.
People have been called on to adhere to safety measures such as wearing a mask, sanitising hands and surfaces and maintaining social distance. ZBC also clarified that of the 30 confirmed cases, only 5 are showing signs of the virus. The other 25 are not exhibiting any signs.
