Nisha Ts Returns to Stage at Mega Doek & Slay All-Women Party in Harare

JUST days after the collapse of her recording stable, Nash TV, Nisha Ts will return to the stage in Harare on Sunday. She is the only female artist performing at the Mega Doek & Slay all-women party at Glamis Arena. The event will also feature performances from Alick Macheso, Baba Harare, Jah Prayzah, and Jah Signal.

Organisers moved the show from its traditional venue, Alex Sports Club, to Glamis Stadium to accommodate what they expect to be the largest crowd in the event’s history. Harare City Council had raised concerns about holding the event at Alex Sports Club, located in a residential area in Milton Park, citing potential disruptions to local residents.

The event follows a “slay code” theme, which encourages attendees to embrace earthy tones of brown paired with luxurious accents in champagne, off-white, and khaki. Organisers explained that the lineup was influenced by attendee preferences.

“Our line-up is mainly suggested by the attendees. We can’t wait to see the ladies dressed up for the day and enjoying their safe space,” the organisers said. “After listening to their choices, the brand decided to select artists who would blend perfectly with our concept.”

Nisha Ts’ return to performing comes as a significant moment in her career, offering fans a chance to see her live despite recent challenges. The Mega Doek & Slay party promises a mix of music, style, and community celebration for women in Harare.
