15 We Learnt About Phillip Chiyangwa From The ZiFM Interview

Business mogul Phillip Chiyangwa had some interesting things to say when he was on Ruvhi Pari’s The Platform. Here are fifteen interesting things you need to know from the interview.

1. He was born and bred in Chegutu in family of 14 children,him being the seventh.

2. His father was a detainee, he sold vegetables as a teenager. Chiyangwa says he cherishes the experience because it exposed him to business.

3. He left Chegutu after completing form 2 and moved to Bulawayo before he made his way to Harare.

4. At some point in his career he managed Hosiah Chipanga and the Erosion band.

5. He takes selfies for fun because he doesn’t make money from it and he uses it to avoid stress.

6. He says he won’t be running ZIFA presidency in 2018.

7. Chiyangwa said he’s running for ZIFA presidency becasue he qualifies to do so.

8. He revealed he has 22 years of soccer administration experience.

9. He used to be the director of Chinhoyi United Football club.

10. Chiyangwa says he has no criminal record and has never been convicted.

11. He once brought Michael Jackson to Zimbabwe.

12. He coins himself as the most successful businessman and wealthiest since Independence.

13. He says he is not in the business of giving loans but giving donations.

14. Chiyangwa says he is a victim of his wealth and good looks. “A combination of riches and looks creates problems”, he said.
