Newcastle United Impressed By Matthew Rusike

Halmstad FC might be facing relegation despite Matthew Rusike’s impressive game which has now caught English Club Newcastle United.

This past weekend Rusike helped his current team with a 2-1 win over Hammarby which he’s been doing since joining the team and having scored five goals in his last 10 games for the struggling Swedish club.

Reports say Newcastle United had scouts at the recent match and they were nothing short of impressed by the 25 year old Warrior. The Newcastle scouts were specifically there to watch one of Hammarby’s youngsters but in the end it was Rusike who managed to turn their heads.

It’s not yet known if Newcastle will make a move on Rusike but they are not the only ones eyeing talented player.

A number of Swedish clubs are known to be interested in the striker since his arrival in  Sweden.

Asked about the possible Newcastle move Rusike had this to say, “No comment. I am sure many teams have looked and many have seen me when the national team plays. I hope everything resolves itself for me and that Halmstads return straight away to the top flight.”
