Rusike was playing in the same league last season for the Halmstads BK side where he scored four goals in eleven games despite his efforts Halmstads BK got relegated.

The 25 year old is excited to join his new club as he revealed on the club’s website saying, “It’s a great feeling, I’m very happy to be part of an amazing club and looking forward to the years ahead. I’m happy that we’ve finally agreed and that I’m now part of the family.”

“I know that the club is a big team in Sweden and in Scandinavia, and they’re a club that I’ve known about my whole career. It was a good time for me at Halmstad, a good introduction, but now I’m looking forward to doing well in a Helsingborg jersey”, he said.

His new manager Henrik Larsson expressed his excitement saying, “It will be exciting to work with Matthew. He is a delicately propelled forward with speed who also works well with his back to goal.”

All the best to Matty at his new club!
