Female Rapper Outs Cal Vin on Live Radio
Female rapper Tiara Baluti outed Bulawayo Rapper Cal Vin on live radio.
The ‘Ndavapedzera’ rapper divulged that Cal Vin made sexual advances towards her in exchange for a verse on her song. She shared this during her interview on ZiFM Stereo’s hip hop show ‘The Fixx’.
The Fixx presenters Lady K and PD the ghost reached out to Cal Vin to clear the allegations. Things got heated when Tiara confronted the ‘Jeki’ rapper as he swerved her allegations.
Tiara claimed to have turned down Cal Vin’s sex advances, Cal Vin actually did the verse but it was never used on the remix.
On the track Tiara raps, “Anozviti mfana weku Luveve iye Cal Vin, I asked for a verse from him and he said I don’t do a verse for free but since it’s you, you can give me some but I refused to do it,”
However this is not the first time that these allegations were made. Tiara mentioned the issue on the hip hop podcast ‘Keep It Real Fridays’. The hosts went on to investigate the issue by reaching out to Cal Vin who gave receipts that he never made such adavances.
Tiara had asked Cal Vin to lay a Ndebele verse on her track ‘Ndavapedzera remix’. The remix features Dobba Don, DJ Towers, Takura, MC Chita, TI Gonzi, Tricky J and Simba Tagz.
The interview and allegations have caused controversy. The former pole dancer highlighted that she is now focusing on her music career.
Tiara is currently promoting her single ‘Bad Gyal’ which features Simba Tagz. She has been going through interviews with fellow labelmate DJ Towers.
