Takura Amplifies His Brand in ‘Mungandidii?’ Music Video
After the long wait Takura released the video for one of his number hits ‘Mungandidii?’.
The video opens with Takura on top of a car making a public announcement via a voice amplifier. He sings along to the hook of the song as a crowd comes to gather around him. He jumps off the top of the car and begins walking down the streets.
The video interchanges between black and white and colour scenes. The red on black and white really looks nice. The video was shot in Mbare and continues with Takura’s theme of taking the music to the people by being part of them.
The video has a number of cameos including comedians Boss Keda, Comic Pastor, Bhutisi and fellow rappers DJ Towers and Tkae Chidz.
Some of the scenes have Takura at the barbershop and he even pushes his Takura Life brand on top of a truck plastered with his face and his brand name.
‘Mungandidii?’ music video attempts to capture Takura’s reign as the man of the moment and king of Afro trap-soul.
