Game of Thrones’ Lead Animator Heads For ComeExposed Talk In Harare
You don’t necessarily need to be a nerd to enjoy popular HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’. Well local comic book and Digital Arts convention ComeExposed will be hosting Game of Thrones lead animator, Jonathan Symmonds. The event will be held at Moto Republik on the 1st of September 2017.
Jonathan who will also attend the Comexposed event which will be held in October. Symmonds will share about his journey from living in Mutare to going to L.A. Though born in Durban, South Africa, Symmonds moved to Zimbabwe in 1987 before moving to England in 2002.
Credits to Jonathan’s portfolio include animating for movies like Avatar, Prince of Persia and Nanny Mcphee. As part of visual effects company Pixomodo, he has animated the dragons that have been featured in Game of Thrones seasons 5-7.
Jonathan will also be sharing his knowledge from his 15 year experience on Digital Arts. This will be a great opportunity for local animators or aspiring animators to learn about Digital Arts.
Comexposed is a Zimbabwean Comic Book Convention where comic writers and comic enthusiasts meet to display their works as well as to interact and discuss new projects.
