DeMbare, Bosso face off in Battle of Zimbabwe

Dynamos will for the first time in the history of the Premier Soccer League host Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium in a battle of Zimbabwe on Sunday.
The two teams will be meeting for the second time this season after their first bout, which served as part of the country’s Uhuru celebrations, took centre stage in Mt Darwin way back on April 18.
With Bosso coming out victors in that aforementioned clash to clinch their first silverware of the 2023 season, DeMbare will surely be seeking for vengeance thereby making the game all interesting.
To add onto the ingredients that are set to make the biggest fixture on the land a blockbuster duel, the hosts will be hoping to continue with their fine run while the visitors will be eager to bounce back from their slumber.
DeMbare have never lost a match in their last five games, managing three wins and two draws while Amahlolanyama have won twice, drew once and lost twice in a row, hence it remains to be seen who will walk away with the bragging rights.
A win for DeMbare, who currently lie 4th on the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League table on 36 points, will further enhance their chances of challenging for the coveted title while a loss will dampen their hopes.
Bosso – whose title credentials are under serious threat – sit at the apex of the table on 41 points just two ahead of their closest rivals Manica Diamonds and Ngezi Platinum Stars.
Meanwhile, the Glamour Boys who will be technically the hosts in Bosso’s home city, have pegged the match at $5 rest of ground, while the VIP and the VVIP are going for $10 and $15 respectively.
