Who Ruled Zim Music In 2015? The Polls Are In

MTV Base is running a poll on twitter to crown the biggest music act in Zimbabwe for 2015. The nominees are Cal_Vin, MudiwaHood, Stunner and African Dancehall King Buffalo Souljah.

So far the Luveve boy is leading by an impressive 49% followed by Buffalo Souljah. Before we go any further, we have to ask if these were the biggest artists in Zimbabwe last year?

Clearly the presence of Buffalo Souljah on the nominees shows it’s not a hip-hop list, we can think of a few artists who deserve to be here including Jah Prayzah. We can’t help but wonder what criteria did they use to choose their nominees or ‘WHO’ did they ask? Hmm!!

What are your thoughts on the nominees and Cal_Vin leading the polls? We have to say it’s a step in the right direction that MTV Base even considered doing the poll, maybe next year we will have Zimbabwean MAMA nominees.
