Ali Sadiki joins DeMbare

Harare giants Dynamos have completed their ninth signing of the season as the blood bath at the Mbare outfit continues ahead of the up and coming 2023 season.

Former Simba Bhora veteran midfielder Ali Sadiki becomes the latest player to join DeMbare with the details of his contract still under wraps.

Confirming the development the new Glamour Boys coach Herbert Maruwa, who has been one of the busiest trainers during this transfer window said the 35-year-old agreed to put pen on paper for the Blue Army.

“He (Sadiki) is now a Dynamos player, he has signed already,” Maruwa told The Sunday Mail Sport.

Given his crest of experience having turned out for one of the biggest clubs on the continent, Tout Puissant Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa’s Witbank Spurs and Kabwe Warriors of Zambia, it is expected Sadiki will form the core of Dynamos’ heart (midfield).

Sadiki will join other new signings namely the Moyo twins Elvis and Kelvin, Eli Ilunga, Tendayi Matindife, Arthur Musiiwa, Emmanuel Ziocha, Keith Madera and Tanaka Shandirwa while the duo of Donald Dzvinyai and Prince Milanzi are among a host of other players who are believed to be on their way to DeMbare.

Be that as it may, it is hoped that Maruwa will guide the Glamour Boys to glory, and judging by the current recruitment exercise at the club, it seems the former Black Rhinos trainer now has the muscle to challenge for the title.

Whether or not his (Maruwa) signings are the right arsenal for the intended job which lies ahead, can only be witnessed when the season commences.
