Soul Afrika has become everyone’s favorite singing duo in Zimbabwe in the last two years. With their melodic voices and instrumental skills, they are stealing hearts across the continent. Here’s what you need to know about the duo.

1. Soul Afrika consists of two members, Tatenda ad Takura.

2. They met through fellow musician Cynthia Mare and people liked how they sounded together and that’s how they formed Soul Afrika.

3. Their single “Zvinhu”, was an idea Takura got whilst hanging out with his cousin who is into fashion and likes Pokello.

4. The hit single that made them a household name, “Zvinhu”, was produced by UK based Dusa Dementor. The concept for the video was brought up by Invision Studios who also shot the video.

5. Their favorite artist locally Tererai and Trevor Dongo.

6. The duo writes their own lyrics, co-produces and composes their music.

7. Tatenda’s celeb crush is actress Danai Gurira and Takura’s is radio personality Misred.
