First lady honoured by Havard university.

The first lady, Auxilia Mnangagwa was recently honoured by Harvard university. They commended her relentless efforts in raising cancer awareness and for her philanthropic work. The first lady has been on the forefront of raising awareness in relation to cancer, in particular, cervical cancer. She has been reaching out to girls and women from all areas of Zimbabwe. She has also been sourcing pre cancer vaccinations for women. The first lady was appointed Honorary ambassador of the Harvard global health catalyst. Many people have been applauding the first lady for her humanitarian work especially in less privileged communities. Her vision of educating girls and women in those communities has been said to aid in decreasing victims of cervical cancer as people are now fully equipped with the necessary knowledge on cancer prevention. The first lady has also been engaging several stake holders in order to curb the scourge of cancer which has become so prevalent in Zimbabwe. Her philanthropic work has seen hundreds of girls being put in school in various areas of the country. A few months ago, she was commended for her efforts in building a house for one old grandmother who was raising opharns and living in squalor. The first lady has also been involved in numerous community based projects to enhance the livelihoods of women.
