Bonnie Deuschle, founder and leader of the Celebration Choir, has been a pillar in Zimbabwean gospel music for decades. Her emotive performances and soul-stirring melodies have made her a household name. Alongside her husband Tom Deuschle, she co-founded Celebration Ministries International, where she has influenced worship culture and trained countless musicians. Her discography with the Celebration Choir includes albums such as Change the World (2006), Yahweh (2012), God Is In This Place (2014), One True Lord (2015) and Seven Times a Day (2016). Beyond music, Deuschle is also an author, having penned The Great Connection, which has been translated into French.

The Hear the Word Choir brings youthful energy and vibrant harmonies that consistently elevate the worship atmosphere. Their dynamic stage presence has made them a favorite in major gospel gatherings, and their participation at the More Than This Show is expected to set a powerful spiritual tone ahead of CeCe Winans’ performance.

Speaking about the event, Lyncolin Kapswara, event director at Events by GEC, said the inclusion of Manyowa and Deuschle added a uniquely Zimbabwean depth to the concert. He highlighted that Deuschle has been a cornerstone of gospel music in Zimbabwe while Manyowa represents a new wave of gospel excellence with global appeal. He noted that having them share the stage with CeCe Winans creates “a powerful blend of heritage, innovation and faith” that audiences will find uplifting and unforgettable.

CeCe Winans, the headlining act, remains one of the most decorated gospel artists of all time.
