Scottland FC Secures Three New Sponsorship Deals for 2025 PSL Season

Barely three months after announcing sponsorship deals worth US$2.5 million, Premier Soccer League (PSL) newcomers Scottland FC have locked in three additional sponsorships for the 2025 season.

In December 2024, the Mabvuku-based team revealed a massive five-year, US$1.5 million per season deal with Sakunda Holdings, owned by businessman Kuda Tagwirei. Shortly after, the Scott Sakupwanya-owned club announced another significant sponsorship of US$1 million from IMC Communications, led by the controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

As the club gears up for its PSL debut, new sponsors have emerged. Although no official announcement has been made, it is widely speculated that Innbucks, Booties Pharmacies, and Medix Self Care Pharmacies are onboard for the 2025 season. The companies’ logos were recently spotted on Scottland FC’s new Adidas playing kits, suggesting a formal partnership.

Innbucks occupies the right sleeve of the shirt, Booties Pharmacies is positioned at the bottom left, and Medix Self Care Pharmacies features on the right side of the kit. This development further solidifies Scottland FC’s reputation as one of the most financially equipped teams in Zimbabwean football.

Preparing for the PSL

Scottland FC is currently on a preseason tour in Zambia as part of its preparation for the upcoming campaign. The team is scheduled to face several top-tier Zambian clubs, with specific fixtures yet to be finalized. This tour reflects the club’s commitment to building a competitive squad under the leadership of coach Tonderai Ndiraya.

The club has already made headlines for its high-profile signings, including former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat and the Moyo twins, Kelvin and Elvis. With substantial financial backing and a well-rounded squad, Scottland FC is set to make an impact in its maiden PSL season.

A Strong Start

Scottland FC’s aggressive approach to securing sponsors and top talent demonstrates the club’s ambitions to become a force in Zimbabwean football. As the season draws closer, fans eagerly await to see how the newcomers will perform in the league and whether their investments will translate into success on the pitch.
