Sundowns Contemplating Getting Rid Of Khama Billiat Over Indiscipline
Mamelodi Sundowns player Khama Billiat’s career could be hanging on the thread due to allegations of indiscipline. According to the Sunday Times, the South African club has been advised to sell him. Most of Billiat’s misbehaviour have been kept out of the limelight. This has been due to the fact that club president Patrice Motsepe and coach Pitso Mosimane have a great liking to him.
Some of the charges against Khama include arriving late for training under the influence of alcohol, domestic violence and drinking and driving. He has also been involved in public fights at clubs and stadium security.
This is the incident that prompted the technical team to force him to attend camp even when he is not part of the playing squad.
It as further added that he is not resting enough. One night early this year he was robbed of a luxury watch and an undisclosed amount of money at gunpoint at a convenience store in Kyalami after midnight during the week.
According to reports some of Billiat’s teammates aren’t too pleased with how the club has been handily such misconduct.
In his defense, Khama has denied the allegations saying:
“I have not done any of the things that people are saying against me. On the issue of going to camp even when I am not playing, the club can answer that one because I don’t know why.“
