NAMA nominations delight Tamy
Top Zimbabwean musician Tamy Moyo is excited at having been nominated for the 2018 NAMA awards. Upon hearing news of her nomination Tamy took to instagram and posted,” It’s A Sunny Sunday morning and I jus want to say thank you to Team Tamy for always supporting me. We got Nominated For the NAMA’s and I’m more than grateful!!! Thank you for being there even when it feels like it’s quiet, trust God is doing the most. Thank you Jehovah for what you have done for me.”
Following outstanding offerings Tamy was nominated for the category of best female artist as well as best video production. Tamy is one of the country’s emerging top artists and received due recognition after being selected as one of two artists that went to perform on the prominent musical show coke Studio that was held in Kenya.
To add to an already glittering year Tamy will now have her fingers crossed in the build up to the prestigious NAMA awards.
Tamy began her music career when she was just 7 years old at Lusitania primary school. Tamy continued to progress and attended Westridge school where as a form one student she began sharing the stage with local artistes such as Stunner, Ba Shupi and Alexio Kawara. At just 13 Tamy released her first album called Celebrate Yo Lyf.
Tamy has performed at the largest festivals in Zimbabwe such as at HIFA and Shoko Festival. She has also made appearances at Miss Tourism Zimbabwe and at the NAMA AWARDS.
