Pokello causes furore by claiming that Zimbabwean women do not bath

Pokello has received some major clap back following her recent utterances that Zimbabwean women do not know how to bath properly. The socialite made the claims at a grooming conference that was recently held in Harare. There were also other speakers at the event.

Social media has been flooded with comments mostly from women, denouncing the queen of swagger for her remarks. To say the comments reflect anger would be an understatement Pokello has been lambasted left, right and centre for allegedly looking down upon fellow women.

The socialite is no stranger to controversy. Comedians such as Julian have told her that it is probably her own circle of friends that are not conversant with bathing. She said Pokello probably stands out among them but that does not mean all women in Zimbabwe are not well versed with bathroom and grooming matters. Others have said Pokello has probably been praised too much that she sees herself as the only beautiful woman in the country.

With so much activity on social media such as Sandra Ndebele’s hot pictures, Pokello’s claim has been refuted as baseless and unfounded.

Pokello became famous after her sex tape featuring hip hop artist Stunner went viral. She later on became the country’s representative on popular reality show Big Brother Africa where she hooked up with ex husband Elikem. She is one of the country’s most famous faces on social media. The self confessed queen of swagger is a brand ambassador for various companies. Although she has been advocating for women empowerment and has previously spoken on platforms where she encouraged women to take care of themselves, this particular pitch did not go down well with most of her fans.
