Takura Parts Ways With Management
Award winning hip hop artist Takura has parted ways with Kosha management under unknown circumstances.
In a press release, the MaObama hitmaker’s former manager Tannia highlighted that they parted company by mutual consent.
The partnership began mid 2016 and saw Takura earn digital growth on Instagram and Vevo. Kosha’s digital strategy saw Takura’s debut EP ‘Stripped’ go straight to number 1 on Zim iTunes. Off the ‘Stripped EP’, three singles took the the number 1 spot and he won 7 awards.

e made it at number seven on S.A. Hip Hop magazine’s Africa Top 20 Rappers. His videos for ‘Zino Irema’ and ‘MaObama’ have been featured on one of the continent’s biggest music channels, channel O and Trace. He won ‘Best newcomer’ out of his five nominations at the 2016 Zim Hip Hop awards.
Kosha and Takura have agreed to pursue parallel paths in the upcoming season. Both parties will remain supportive and significant to each other’s career growth.
All pending work under the partnership has been called off to allow a new direction and focus.
