Billiat returns to training

The return of Khama Billiat to training will be music to the ears of Amakhosi fans after the Zimbabwean international spent the past few weeks on the sidelines owing to injury. Billiat was part of Amakhosi’s training on Tuesday, lifting the spirits of the Kaizer Chiefs family.

Billiat has been out of action since early this year after fracturing his leg during a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Maritzburg United on January 9. The Zimbabwean international’s absence had left Kaizer Chiefs short of attacking options with Leonardo Castro also nursing an injury.

The Zimbabwean’s return comes at a time Kaizer Chiefs are preparing for an important Caf champions league clash against Wydada Athletic club.

Apart from being unable to feature for his club Billiiat also missed out on important Afcon qualifiers where Zimbabwe qualified for the Africa Cup of nations after overcoming Botswana 2 nil in Francis Town recently.
