Clinical Dynamos show pedigree

Dynamos cast aside a nightmarish start to their Chibuku Super Cup campaign by producing a clinical performance which saw them crush hapless Yadah FC 4-0 at the National Sports Stadium this afternoon.

Despite a dominant start by Yadah FC who were lively in the opening exchanges, it was Dynamos who opened the scoring with great combination play culminating in a goal from Shadreck Nyahwa in the 9th minute.

Dembare stretched their lead in the 22nd second minute courtesy of a well placed effort by Albert Eonde before left back Godknows Murwira unleashed a thunderous effort which handed the glamour boys a 3 nil lead at the break.

The glamour boys fourth would come in the second half thanks to spectacular strike by Shadreck Nyahwa who scored from range after catching Yadah goal minder Tanyaradzwa Huni off his line. The win was a massive improvement for Dynamos who struggled against Herentals last weekend.

Dynamos head coach Tonderayi Ndiraya was elated with the win, “Today we came in with I think about 5 changes and it’s mostly the team we had been preparing with I think we saw the result is telling it all, so good performance for me, we pushed hard in the first half to get the result but psychologically the players tend to drop when they see that they have a comfortable lead and we came back in the second half a little bit down but I though Yadah tried and came at us in the second half but overally I am happy with the result” said Ndiraya.

Victory propelled the glamour boys to the summit of the standings with the other two matches in dembare’s group slated for this Sunday. ZPC Kariba play Herentals in the morning before Caps face off with Harare City in a 3pm kickoff.
