Khama Billiat Could Be Leaving Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns player Khama Billiat could be leaving the club. In a report by South African newspaper, Sunday World negotiations between Billiat and Sundowns have been stalling. Its been reported that the representatives for both parties stopped negotiations after they failed to agree on terms for a new deal.
The two main issues are the Billiat’s salary and his buyout clause.
Sundowns head coach Mosimane admitted that they needed to prepare themselves in case Billiat did leave. Billiat’s contract is now set to enter its final season and failure to come to an agreement could see the striker leaving the club.
Sundowns are understood to be targeting Supersport United’s Jeremy Brockie as a replacement for Billiat should he decide to leave. Sundowns have already added another striker in George Lebese who joined from Kaizer Chiefs.
