Zimbabwe’s outspoken characters

Some personalities are well known for having outgoing characters and not being shy of being in the limelight. Below is a list of some of the country’s extroverts whose love of being in the public eye is undoubted.

Phillip Chiyangwa – is a well known extrovert who is renowned for living flamboyantly and not being shy of showing off any acquisitions in the form of brand new cars or any of his properties. Chiyangwa made the headlines after equating one of his shoes to having the same value as a Mazda 323. The Harare businessman has in the past taken journalists on a tour of his flashy Borrowdale home as well as showcasing the vast number of designer labels in his closet.

Sir Wicknell Chivayo – Is easily one of the most active social media users. Chivayo rose to prominence following his involvement with the Zimbabwe national soccer team which he sponsored for some time. The Harare businessman is known for showing off his riches with posting on facebook the array of shoes in his closet. Chivayo has been in the public eye after being dragged to court on allegations of fraud but he was acquitted.

Genius Kadungure – Popularly known as Ginimbi Genius Kadungure is renowned for his outspokenness. Ginimbi is another of Zimbabwe’s rich businessman that owns flamboyant night club, club Sankayi. Recently the top Harare businessman hosted South African prominent rapper Riky Rick who was accompanied to Zimbabwe by son of former President Chatunga Mugabe.

Temba Mliswa – though not particularly boastful Temba Mliswa is not shy of outlining matters as they are in the sphere of politics. Mliswa is a renowned politician who has often ruffled the feathers of top company executive when called in to explain matters at parliament. Mliswa recently had a spat with honourable Dexter Nduna regarding to alleged corruption involving ZINARA.
