Chicken Inn couple get married

The popular chicken inn couple comprising of Makhosana Mguni and Belinda Nyoni finally underwent their lobola negotiations. The lovebirds were dressed to kill as they celebrated their new married status on Sunday.

The couple became the subject of socila media bullying and mockery after having been photopraphed in a chicken inn outlet with Makhosana proposing a hand in marriage to Belinda. This sparked a wave of criticism with some people questioning whether Makhosana could not find a proper place to propose rather than in chicken inn building. The gesture, however seemed to have paid off as they were endorsed as chicken inn brand ambassadors.

The popular couple did their lobola negotiations and true to their word Chicken inn provided food and proudly sponsored the event. Adorned in matching african print outfits, the couple also promoted chicken inn products and had their chicken meal served in chicken inn buckets.

The couple is proof that fortune can knock at anyone’s door at anytime. What started off as a simple proposal, which was shunned at, turned into a life changing event.

Other companies such as Stereki Kinekor, make up artists and bridal wear shops also offered to bless the couple with their products on their wedding day which is slated for December. Chicken inn also promised to provide plane tickets and pay for accommodation and expenses for the couple’s honeymoon getaway.

Makhosana and Belinda became overnight celebrities following the proposal and the nation is pregnant with anxiety to see what their wedding will be like.
