Zim junior golfer Tafadzwa Nyamukondiwa leaves for USA
Zimbabwean sportsman Tafadzwa Nyamukondiwa was all smiles as he left for the US recently. The junior golfer departed over the weekend on a golf scholarship at Western Texas University. The 18 year old junior golfer impressed coaches and sponsors late last year when he made his debut at the International Global Junior tournament and the famous Orange bowl in the United States.
His excellent feat on the golf course caught the attention of many sponsors and he eventually opted to accept a scholarship from the Western Texas University. Tafadzwa started playing golf at the tender age of 8. His amazing skills led him to become one f the best golfers in the country. He currently holds the title of top golfer in Zimbabwe.
The young and talented lad had the privilege I captain the nation team at the Tri – Nation series, including Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia, at only 15! He also represented the country at the All Africa golf tournament in 2017.
Tafadzwa is one of the few talented local golfers to be awarded scholarships in the USA. Others include Kieran Vincent and David Amm
