Instagram war escalates as Pokello receives major backlash.

Zimbabweans socialite and self proclaimed queen of swagger Pokello Nare is currently on the receiving end of bitter tongue lashes from fellow celebrities and ordinary people following her recent post. Pokello daringly stated that no one else was going to be crowned stylish until she hands over that status. She wote “Chimuti ndichaita handover ndega, hamutore necoup”.

This revelation came after Cathe jayz Closet launched their shoe brand. Cathe had been endorsed as the new it girl in the Zim shoe game. Pokello, having her own shoe line Pokello pink bottoms, responded that no one was to take away her title of being the country’s most stylish lady. There was massive backlash against Pokello’s sentiments and other celebrities joined the conversation.

Zuva Habane said that anyone was entitled to style and class. She said that no one could personalise class. Habane clapped back at Pokello in a subtle way without necessarily mentioning her name. Fans joined in and also reiterated that Pokello’s ego was getting bigger by the day and she ought to acknowledge when other ladies excelled. Pokello seems to have bitten off more than she could chew this time around.

The queen of swagger has been holding onto the title of Zim’s finest woman for quite some time and her shoe line hailed as one of the best brands in Zimbabwe.
