“It’s time for me to take a break” DJ Stavo announces retirement.

After twenty years in the music industry and creating some magic behind the scenes, DJ Stavo recently announced his retirement. The popular DJ made the shocking announcement and remarked that it was time for him to take a break. Dj Stavo has worked with some musical heavyweights both locally and internationally. He has worked with the likes of Gemma Griffiths, Cindy,Trevor D, AKA, Cibil Nyte and Mandoza among others. He has shared the stage with some of the best DJs in the world in places such as USA,South Africa,Botswana and the U.K among others.

Dj Stavo is a former footballer who hung up his soccer boots for the decks. He is indeed a household name in Africa and beyond. He started his musical career in 2011 and rose to become one of the top DJs Zimbabwe has seen. Dj Stavo thanked his fans for their loyal support and said that he wished he could have taken the industry to a higher level that it is. He however expressed optimism that someone else would take the reigns and move forward the musical platform. The announcement came just a few weeks after he staged his DJ Stavo and friends concert which saw several artists giving fans their best acts. DJ Stavo is married and has two kids
