Restaurants to serve sit in meals
The government has announced that restaurants will now be allowed to have sit in clients. The relaxation of the condition on not serving sit in patrons has however come with a condition that they must serve meals at a 50 percent capacity. Restaurants are also encouraged to observe strict hygiene measures such as sanitising surfaces, ensuring patrons have their hands sanitized and masks are a prerequisite
The lockdown that was imposed on March had made most restaurants to close down. Later on, take aways were allowed to be served and now the government has allowed sit ins.
The current number of recorded covid 19 cases stands at 576 . The increase came about as a result of people returning from outside the country’s boarders. This figure is however quite stable considering the hundreds of thousands of people that are dying in other countries due to the virus.
Most people have hailed the new development and confessed just how much they missed eating out at their popular hot spots. Likewise restaurant owners have also breathed a sigh of relief considering the amount of business that they lost when their businesses were forced to close down. Young kids can now have the chance to go for that ice cream outing while those on lockdown can have their favorite meals at their restaurants of choice
