Dynamos unveil technical partner as commercialisation drive continues
Dynamos’ quest of becoming one of the well run clubs in the country continued on Monday after the glamour boy’s unveiled a kit partner in the capital. OTB Looks sportswear was unveiled as the glamour boys new technical partner in an agreement deemed to be worth 300,000 us dollars.
The 3 year deal will see OTB Looks sportswear supplying Dynamos with official match kits, replica jersey’s and training kits in a move that is expected to further ensure the glamour boys align to international best practice. Of particular concern had been the absence of replica jersey’s but the coming in of OTB Looks sportwear is set to end a longstanding problem which is expected to be a significant revenue stream for the club.
Dynamos has been on an upward trajectory of late with dembare setting up digital platforms where fans can closely follow developments of the club. the glamour boys earlier this month appointed Yvonne Mangunda as the clubs Marketing and Communications Manager in a move welcomed by many. Since her appointment the club is growing its digital footprint and the unveiling of a technical partner should complement the clubs growing online presence.
Dynamos boasts of the largest fan base in Zimbabwe yet the club has over the years struggled to capitalise on its large following. the glamour boys however appear to be turning a corner with several initiatives pointing to a clear transformation at the glamour boys.
