Mandizwidza, Sets Sights on Professional Career

After graduating from Winchendon High School and moving to Gordon College in August 2022, Mandizwidza is looking to become a vital member of the Gordon College team.

With his technical and intelligent approach to the game, he hopes to secure a place in the team when the soccer season starts in two months.

While he is also talented in athletics, participating in the 100-meter and 200-meter events, Mandizwidza’s true passion lies in football. He is determined to impress the coaching staff at Gordon College and catch the attention of football scouts.

As a big fan of European football, Mandizwidza dreams of one day playing for a top European club, with Liverpool being his favourite. “When it comes to soccer, Europe is the ultimate destination. I have dreams of one day turning pro and making a name for myself on the European landscape,” he says.

Renowned for probing and asking questions of opposing defenders with his clever movement and crafty output with the ball at his feet, Shingirai is one of the bright prospects that are at the disposal of Gordon High School.

Boasting of a fair amount of experience at junior level, Mandizwidza is looking to take the next step that would see him securing a professional contract after finishing College.
