Julian King Celebrates Loyal Women in New Song ‘Chinjira Life’

Award-winning musician Julian King has paid tribute to devoted women in his latest single, Chinjira Life. Featuring rap sensation Bagga, the song was released in celebration of International Women’s Day, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the contributions of women in society.

In an interview with The Herald Arts, the United States-based Afro-pop star encouraged men to remain committed to the women who stood by them during their struggles.

“In my new song, I urge men to appreciate the woman they met at their lowest who stuck by them. Reward her by giving her the best life you can,” he said.

Julian King expressed his concern about how some men mistreat the women who supported them when they had nothing.

“I was touched by how some men ill-treat the ladies who gave them a shoulder to cry on when they were down,” he added.

The musician also acknowledged the strong reception of his music back home.

“My music is doing well. We have a lot of support, and we love it.”

Born Julian Kanombirira, the talented entertainer has recorded several chart-topping hits. A holder of an Accounting degree from Africa University, he has been balancing his music career with further studies overseas.

Beyond music, Julian King is also committed to philanthropy. Through the Julian King Foundation, he is currently paying school fees for ten learners in Seke, Chitungwiza, as part of his efforts to give back to the community.

He remains one of several Zimbabwean musicians abroad who maintain a strong connection with their roots, using both his music and charitable work to make a positive impact.
