Celine Sky Captivates Audiences at “Sky’s Strings and Soul” Event in Bulawayo
Bulawayo-based songstress Celine Sky delivered a captivating musical experience last Friday at the Flexiwork Workplace and Coworking Space in Bulawayo. The event, aptly named “Sky’s Strings and Soul,” offered attendees a unique and unforgettable journey through her soulful melodies, culminating in the unveiling of her much-awaited single, “Shepherd’s Rhythm.”
The venue was transformed into a sanctuary of connection, where attendees could immerse themselves in the power of music. Celine Sky, who was born and raised in Bulawayo, used this intimate gathering to reintroduce herself to her loyal fanbase, celebrating her roots and the diverse influences that have shaped her musical identity.
Known for her fusion of folk, blues, gospel, and Lo-Fi sounds, Celine Sky’s music reflects a rich tapestry woven from the cultural diversity of her surroundings. The event featured performances from various artists, including Sox The Poet, Barb The Emotional Alchemist, and soulful rapper FaRAi. Celine was supported by a live duo band consisting of lead guitarist Kinah the Music and keyboardist Larynx.
Rapper Brintz, who recently collaborated with Celine Sky and Asaph Afrika on the track “Vula Amasango,” steered the event proceedings, ensuring a seamless flow between the performances.
