Relentless Worship 2025 Transforms UFIC Basilica into a Night of Powerful Praise

The UFIC Basilica became a vibrant hub of worship and celebration as Zimbabwean and Nigerian gospel artists delivered a spiritually charged performance at the Relentless Worship 2025 event. Thousands gathered from across Zimbabwe and beyond to witness a night that attendees say will remain unforgettable.

Headlined by Nigerian gospel stars Sunmisola and Ebuka Songs, the event also featured Zimbabwean favourites Minister Michael Mahendere, Psalmist Hubert C, Worshipper Larry Gunda, Tatenda Masara, Carol Nyakuba, and the UFIC Choir. The lineup brought together top talent from both countries to create a unique worship experience.

From midday until 7:00 PM, the Basilica echoed with stirring melodies, spontaneous praise sessions, and heartfelt prayer. Many attendees described the atmosphere as “electrifying yet deeply sacred,” with some moved to tears by the powerful moments.

Rufaro Mafuse said, “I’ve never experienced worship like this before. The presence of God was so strong, I found myself on my knees without even realising it.” Blessing Chihwita praised Sunmisola’s voice as “a gift straight from heaven,” recalling the emotional impact of her song “My Daddy My Daddy” that brought many to tears.

Tendai Kusakara shared, “I came expecting good music, but what I got was a revival in my heart. The Nigerian and Zimbabwean artists blended perfectly.”

Sunmisola and Ebuka Songs expressed gratitude for the warm reception from Zimbabwean fans. Ebuka called the crowd “one of the most passionate worship crowds” he has ministered to, while Sunmisola said, “It was amaizing ministering to the crowd. Our first assignment is to win souls, and singing is just a medium to accomplish that.”

Zimbabwean Worshipper Larry Gunda reflected on the night, saying, “I was so excited, especially seeing people respond to what I was doing. It was special.” Minister Michael Mahendere described the atmosphere as a moment of “Relentless worship.”

Relentless Worship has become a key event on the regional gospel calendar. This edition proved its ability to unite artistry and spirituality, leaving organisers and worshippers eagerly awaiting the next gathering.
