Top Artists to Headline Castle Lager Braai Fest Micro Events in Chitungwiza and Marondera

This weekend, music lovers in Chitungwiza and Marondera will be treated to live performances from some of Zimbabwe’s top artists as the 10th edition of the Castle Lager Braai Fest kicks off its micro events.

In Chitungwiza, Monkey Shoulder will host the first micro braai on Saturday, featuring headline performances from Chillspot Family, Voltz JT, DJ Mafresh, and DJ King Urah. The artists promise an electrifying mix of hits and live sets, ensuring the crowd experiences high-energy entertainment alongside the festival’s signature braai culture.

On Sunday, Chipiwa Gardens in Marondera will welcome Nisha Ts, Ex Q, DJ Spencer, and DJ Ellaboy. Each performer will bring their unique style, from soulful vocals to dynamic DJ sets, offering festival-goers an unforgettable musical experience.

Castle Lager organisers said the micro braais are part of a series of 10 events in 10 cities leading up to the main festival on October 18 at Glamis Arena in Harare. “Each micro event will feature electrifying live performances by local artists and DJs, creating unforgettable experiences that blend great music, braai, and the unmistakable taste of Castle Lager,” the organisers said.

The micro events also include a community-focused initiative, with Castle Lager donating 10 state-of-the-art hospital beds to a local hospital in each city hosting the festival.

Fans attending the Chitungwiza and Marondera events will not only enjoy top performances from leading artists but also join a nationwide celebration that combines music, food, and community spirit. These micro braais set the stage for the grand Castle Lager Braai in Harare, promising even more high-profile acts and vibrant entertainment.
