Holy Ten Fans Frustrated as Tour Guide Excludes Local Shows

Zimbabwean hip hop star Holy Ten has caused a stir among fans after releasing a tour guide that does not include any local performances. The artist announced upcoming shows in Dubai and South Africa next month, leaving many supporters feeling overlooked. Fans had expected that Holy Ten would perform in Zimbabwe, especially after a long absence. This omission has generated frustration and heated discussions on social media.
Fans have been waiting eagerly for Holy Ten’s return since he entered a rehabilitation facility in South Africa. Some hoped the rapper would celebrate his birthday with a local show on November 18. However, Holy Ten has not confirmed any performances on that date, making a homecoming seem unlikely. Supporters have expressed disappointment that they might miss a chance to see him in person during such a significant moment.
Holy Ten’s rehabilitation came after a period marked by erratic behaviour and controversies, including problematic remarks about his wife, Kimberly Richards. He spent six weeks in the facility addressing struggles with alcoholism and personal issues. After returning, Holy Ten shared a statement emphasizing responsibility and growth. He highlighted his commitment to humility, accountability, and respect for family, authority, and his nation.
In his statement, Holy Ten affirmed his role as a voice for youth, now speaking from a place of peace and accountability. “Over the past weeks, I have been in a deep process of learning, healing and rebuilding,” he wrote. He added that his experiences have reinforced the importance of responsibility and self-reflection. The statement, however, did not explain why he chose to enter rehabilitation at that time.
The decision to focus on international performances has divided his fan base. Many Zimbabwean supporters feel neglected and disappointed by the absence of local shows. “It’s disheartening to see Holy Ten neglecting his local fans. We’ve supported him all along, and now he’s performing abroad instead of here,” one fan said. This sentiment highlights the tension between local loyalty and global ambitions.
Other fans defended Holy Ten, emphasizing his growing international profile. “Holy Ten is a global artist, and it’s natural for him to want to perform internationally. We should be proud he is representing Zimbabwe on the world stage,” another fan said. Supporters argue that expanding his reach can benefit both him and Zimbabwean music. Despite the mixed reactions, Holy Ten has not publicly addressed the backlash over his tour guide.
