Feli Nandi to Focus on Writing and Creativity in Early 2026

AFRO-FUSION queen and fashion powerhouse, Feli Nandi, will take a more relaxed approach in the first quarter of 2026. The Zimbabwean artist is turning her attention to writing and creativity, aiming to strengthen her music and fashion ventures.
Her manager, Connie Mazani, explained that the quieter schedule will allow Feli Nandi to concentrate on writing new music and developing fresh ideas. Juggling her music career with her African-themed clothing line, ‘Vasikana Vemarokwe,’ and her catering brand, ‘KwaNandi,’ Mazani said this pause is strategic. “She will be slowing it down for the first quarter of the year to focus on more writing. This is so important for her so she can write more and really connect with her music,” Mazani said.
Feli Nandi has built a growing international presence and is recognized as one of Zimbabwe’s leading contemporary music figures. Although she has not yet collaborated with an international artist, she hinted at exploring these opportunities. “When you work with other musicians, you learn from each other. It’s about helping one another improve our craft and pushing each other to be better,” she noted.
Her first release of the year, ‘Hamundinzwisise,’ has already resonated with fans. The song speaks to those who feel misquoted, misunderstood, or underestimated. Fans shared emotional reactions online, with one saying, “All your songs relate to everything that happens in my life. You know the exact words to what I am going through. May God bless you, Feli Nandi.” Another fan reflected on how her music provided comfort after a personal loss, citing the song ‘Vakaita Sewe’ from last year’s album.
Last year, Feli Nandi released her second album, a personal testament to her journey in the music industry. It featured songs like ‘Tongai,’ ‘Munamato,’ ‘Ndisiyei,’ ‘Ahungasiye,’ ‘Kukoromoka,’ ‘Muranda,’ ‘Shwamwari,’ ‘Fambai Neni,’ and ‘Vakaita Sewe,’ following her debut album, ‘Inzwa.’
For the past three years, Feli Nandi has become a staple at major events and successfully staged nationwide tours. With this early-year focus on writing and creativity, she aims to deliver more music that connects deeply with her audience while continuing to grow her fashion and catering brands.
