Tendayi Matindife joins Dynamos

Former Ngezi Platinum Stars exciting prospect Tendayi Matindife has crossed the floor from Mhondoro to Harare after being officially unveiled by as a new signing by Dynamos Football Club.

Matindife was last season an influential player for Ngezi Platinum Stars after being elevated from the Ngezi Under 19 side to the first team half way through the season.

Blessed with silky skills, pace as well as an eye for goal, the nimble footed winger is expected to add value to the Dynamos side which is currently on a rebuilding exercise after parting ways with Tonderayi Ndiraya who has since moved to Shamva where he is now coaching Simba Bhora FC.

Matindife at one stage formed a formidable partnership with Takunda Benhura in the Ngezi Platinum Under 19 side, but the two players captured the attention of the first team technical department and were elevated.

After joining the first team Matindife had several memorable matches including the game against Triangle in which he came on as a substitute and killed off the game with a well-taken header.

In the last game of the season Matindife again impressed as he scored a sublime curling effort in a contest which saw Madamburo hammering Wha Wha FC 5-nil at the Baobab Stadium.

Having had good times in Mhondoro, Matindife will now have the arduos task of satisfying the expectations of the Dynamos supporters who are well renowned for expecting a lot from new signings.

Dynamos FC on Sunday confirmed having officially signed Tendayi Matindife who is expected to add competition to the DeMbare first team squad.
