Despite getting a full University scholarship, Winfrey dropped out when she got an opportunity to be part of a local radio station. She never looked back and says it’s the best decision she ever made.

The well known actress and owner of Honest Company never went to University since she grew up on screen. Her company ‘Honest’ is now estimated to have a net worth of over a $1 billion. She’s now one of the richest self made women in America.
5. Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, before dropping out and co-founding Apple Inc. Jobs would serve as chairman and chief executive officer of the company, which is considered to be one of the world’s most valuable brands.
