Masiyiwa donates ventilators
Strive Masiyiwa has received a standing ovation for his acts of goodwill. The Econet CEO recently handed over 45 ventilators to local hospitals to help fight against the covid 19. Zimbabwe was battling an acute shortage of ventilators in major hospitals. This was unearthed when Zororo Makamba passed away recently and it was said they had failed to get him a ventilator at Wilkins hospital.
Masiyiwa has been lending a helping hand during this crisis and most people have applauded him for having such a good heart. He even offered a covid 19 allowance to doctors who are risking their lives during this period.
Masiyiwa has done a lot of charity work. His company pays tuition for hundreds of students. He has always been on the forefront of pledging money and goods during times of crisis. When there was a cholera outbreak, he also assisted. No wonder why his business keeps booming, the man has a heart of gold.
Most people have been worried I’ve the issue of inadequate ventilators in the country’s hospitals. The donation will surely ease things. Although Zimbabwe has less than ten confirmed cases of the corona virus, it still remains a crucial issue that the country is well prepared to deal with the global pandemic.
