Bona appointed executor to late father’s estate.

Bona Mugabe was recently appointed the executive to her late father Robert Mugabe’s estate. She now has the sole authority to distribute his wealth and pay off outstanding debts. In a meeting held before the Master of high court recently, Bona was accompanied by her mother Grace, husband Simbarashe and family lawyer Terrence Hussein.

Hussein confirmed the development. He however noted that the wealth in question is that which is within the boarders of the country and not properties outside. He also said the late former president did not have full rights over Gushungo dairy and did not own it solely.

Most people have applauded the decision to appoint Bona as executor as opposed to her mother who seems to have grown unpopular. Bona is level headed and has always been the quiet and more composed of the late former president’s children. Robert Mugabe ruled the country for over 30 years and was ousted through military intervention in late 2017. He passed away this year in Singapore
