Photos: Zimbabwe’s First Ever All Female Flight Deck Crew

History has been made! Zimbabwe’s first ever all female flight deck crew flew the B737 – 200 from Harare to Victoria Falls on Friday in the safe hands of  Captain Chipo M. Matimba and Captain Elizabeth Simbi Petros.

Air Zimbabwe shared the photos on their Facebook page with the caption, “History has been made! First all female flight deck crew on the Air Zimbabwe Boeing 737! Captain Chipo M. Matimba and Captain Elizabeth Simbi Petros. B737 – 200.”

One of the Captains, Chipo Chifamba gave a shoutout to her fellow female captain on Facebook saying, “Two CAPTAINS!! Absolute pleasure Captain Elizabeth Simbi Petros! ????????. ‪#‎PaintingTheSkyPink‬!”
