“Made Top 10 And That Can Only Be God’s Favour” Says Miss Tourism Zim, Ashley Morgen
ASHLEY MORGEN reigning Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2016 was in the top ten at the 2016/2017 Miss Tourism International held in Malaysia on New Year’s Eve. New Zealand queen Ariel Pearse took the crown home.
Miss Indonesia Dikna Faradiba was crowned Miss South East Asia, Miss Australia Tasha Ross was crowned Miss Tourism Global, Miss Brazil Thaina Magalhaes was named Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan and Miss Mexico Ximena Delgado Mendez was crowned Dream Girl of the Year.
Ashley took to her instagram account to congratulate the winners saying “ Congrats to the five winners @misstourisminternational and congratulations to all the finalists; it takes courage, confidence; a lot of strength and patience to go through the whole process. Made top 10 and that can only be God’s favour. Thank you for the support and love”, she posted.
She jetted into the country this morning at 11am and was met at the airport by Miss Tourism Zimbabwe team and fans who showed support for a feat well done. This is a milestone for the team as the pageant was in its first year running after rebranding and showcasing a world-class event that attracted quite a number of prominent figures politically and in business circles.
