Bulawayo’s Piano Cuzzle Returns with a Bold Orange Flair and Fashion-First Focus

Bulawayo’s fashion and lifestyle scene is about to dazzle once again as the second edition of the Piano Cuzzle lights up the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre (ZITF) Pavilion this weekend. Dubbed the Orange Edition, this year’s event promises a vibrant fusion of fashion, groove, and culture — with a bold orange dress code setting the tone for the stylish festivities.
Following the success of last year’s debut Green Edition, this follow-up event, themed “Fashion Meets Groove”, is set to amplify Bulawayo’s creative pulse by showcasing the best of local fashion design, music, and youthful expression.
Fashion Takes Centre Stage
Kicking off at 2 PM, the Orange Edition opens with a high-impact fashion show highlighting the work of Bulawayo-based designers and stylists. Organisers are encouraging both emerging and established fashion creatives to seize the opportunity to showcase their designs in front of a fashion-forward crowd.
“This Piano Cuzzle is the Orange Edition – Fashion meets Groove. We’re celebrating fashion and lifestyle in collaboration with local fashion brands and designers. Our main focus this time around is fashion. If you’re a fashion stylist, pull up and showcase,” said a spokesperson.
The show will spotlight trends, culture-inspired designs, and streetwear, offering a visual feast for fashion lovers and trendsetters.
A Groovy Line-Up of DJs
Once the fashion segment wraps up, the event transitions into an electrifying musical experience featuring 10 DJs — nine of them hailing from Bulawayo. Among them are eight male DJs and three new talents making their debut performances. Adding a special touch to the night is a guest DJ from Plumtree, a protégé of the celebrated DJ Yugoe, promising a fresh sound and dynamic set.
The music segment underscores the Piano Cuzzle’s commitment to elevating local talent while creating a party atmosphere that unites fashionistas, music lovers, and culture enthusiasts.
New Venue, Same Vibe
In response to feedback from the previous edition, organisers have shifted the venue from Mystique Gardens to the centrally located ZITF Pavilion. The move is aimed at easing accessibility for attendees and creating a more visually captivating environment for both fashion and musical elements.
“We changed the venue to accommodate our guests who had challenges with transportation last time. This time, we brought it closer to home at the ZITF Pavilion, a more aesthetic venue,” the organisers explained.
A Celebration of Youth Culture
The Orange Edition continues Piano Cuzzle’s collaboration with premium brand Jägermeister, but this time with a stronger emphasis on fashion and self-expression. With its stylish orange theme, diverse DJ line-up, and inclusive fashion showcase, the event is fast becoming a cornerstone of Bulawayo’s cultural calendar.
As anticipation builds, fashion lovers and music fans alike are gearing up for a weekend of bold looks, good vibes, and unforgettable grooves. Whether you’re there to strut the runway or dance to the beats, Piano Cuzzle: Orange Edition is set to be a standout moment for the city’s vibrant lifestyle scene.
