Killer T to Feature on BBC 1 Xtra
Zimdancehall artist Killer T continues to make strides as he is expected to feature on BBC 1Xtra for an interview and freestyle session.
Killer T recently performed at the UK Cup Clash in Leicester will be on DJ Edu’s ‘Destination Africa’ on May 7. The popular show by the UK based Ugandan DJ airs every Sunday 10pm UK time. Killer T will be the latest Zimbabwean artiste to feature on the popular slot after Winky D and Jah Prayzah who were on the show a few weeks back.
UK based promoter King Alfred Munhenga believes that the interview is a great opportunity for Killer T to market his brand. Munhenga was also responsible for Winky D’s debut radio appearance on BBC back 2010. Evidently the interview was fruitful as Winky D’s smash hit ‘Disappear’ was number 1 on BBC 1Xtra music charts.
The ‘Takangodaro’ hitmaker recently became the first Zimdancehall artist to have a Vevo channel on which he released the visuals for his latest single ‘Bvunza Tinzwe’. Killer T is now under the managemnet of KOSHA who have been known to have success in terms of pushing local artists on digital platforms.
