Tafadzwa Kuveya: Balancing Boards and Beauty at 22

At just 22, Tafadzwa Kuveya is making waves as both an accountant and a model, proving that ambition and talent can thrive across multiple arenas. She skillfully navigates the demands of corporate life while building a presence on the pageant stage, establishing herself as one of Zimbabwe’s rising young women of influence.

Kuveya holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and is close to completing her ACCA qualification, positioning her among the world’s respected accounting professionals. She currently works as a senior audit associate at MGI Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe, where colleagues admire her diligence and professionalism.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Kuveya is the founder of Awack Beauty, a brand she launched at 20 with the motto “Be Bold and Beautiful.” The brand promotes confidence and individuality, reflecting her belief that true beauty emerges from self-assurance and purpose.

Her poise recently earned her the title of Miss Glamour Zimbabwe 2025 in March, a milestone she describes as her “time to shine.” She will represent Zimbabwe at the Miss Africa International Pageant in Abuja, Nigeria, in December, aiming to highlight the country’s culture, hospitality, and values to a continental audience.

“I’ve always believed that if you can dream it, you can achieve it,” Kuveya said in a recent interview. “At first, entering a pageant felt scary, but I reminded myself that courage opens doors.”

Faith plays a central role in her life. Kuveya credits prayer and reading the Word of God with keeping her grounded amid a busy schedule. Her pageant platform advocates for equal access to quality education, addressing social challenges like child marriages and the cycle of poverty.
