Takanyi Garanganga through to Nigeria futures quaters

Zimbabwe’s number 1 tennis player Takanyi Garanganga has progressed to the quarter finals of the Nigeria F4 futures tournament.

Garanganga eased into the last 8 courtesy of a 6-4, 6-2 win over Nigeria’s John Ubon. It took 36 minutes for Takanyi to win the first set.

The Zimbabwean player wrapped up the match after taking the second set 6-2 in 33 minutes.
Garanganga will now be eyeing a semi-final berth when he takes to the court on Thursday.
