Mr Attention Tops Hot100 Zimbabwe with “Handinyore,” Dethroning Jah Prayzah

Mr Attention has claimed the number one spot on the Hot100 Zimbabwe chart in Week 2 of 2026 with his hit single “Handinyore,” ending Jah Prayzah’s reign with “Ruzhowa.” Early trends indicate the track is more than a fleeting viral hit, reflecting Mr Attention’s growing influence in Zimbabwe’s mainstream music scene.
Nutty O’s “Too Much” holds strong at number two, while Jah Prayzah falls to number three. HLGM makes a striking Top 5 debut with “Mwari Aripo” at number four, and Nashie Zim’s “Kunge Redhiyo” remains steady at number five.
The Top 10 shows measured movement but notable changes. Enzo Ishall’s “Chibatamabvi” featuring Oskid slips to number six, followed by Takura’s “Vendor” at seven. Hulengende’s “Kunge Ngirozi” climbs to eight, Atenda Chinx’s “Makoti” rises to nine, and Raymer’s “Kapoto” drops to ten.
Significant shifts occurred in the lower half of the chart. Joyful Praise Choir’s “Takayedza (Jesu Anozvigona)” jumps 37 places to number 31, while Shayne’s “Mamvemve” featuring Chillmaster soars 43 spots to number 36. Minister Mahendere’s “Bako Rangu” moves up to 17, Messiah climbs to 30, and Prince Chigwida’s “Ndiringei Mambo” rises to 14.
New entries also made an impact. Mudiwa Hood’s “Love & Affection” featuring Takura and Shona Prince debuts at 37, and Celestial Chorus’ “Kupenya Mugomo” enters at number 40.
HLGM’s “Mwari Aripo” continues to show strength in the Top 5, while Saintfloew’s “Wicked Weekend” drops to 25 and Holy Ten’s “Muganhu” slips to 34.
