Msiz’kay Signs With Wavio Records and Sets Sights on Global Stage

Multi award winning Afro Hip Hop artist Msiz’kay has taken a major step in his career after signing a recording and distribution deal with UK based label Wavio Records. The partnership signals his strongest push into the international market and builds on the momentum he created during his trip to the United Kingdom last year.

Wavio Records operates from Leeds and is known for supporting emerging artists. Its roster includes Zulu Bantu, Khayor, Krids and now Msiz’kay. The rapper says the relationship began during his UK performance when a long time friend introduced him to the label founder. Talks followed and the agreement soon took shape.

Msiz’kay believes this partnership will expand his reach and introduce his music to new markets. He says fans should expect a steady flow of polished work backed by strong global distribution.

The collaboration has already produced results. Msiz’kay released a new single titled Hello under the label. The track was produced by Taffy Gee and Msiz’kay. Tom Prod X from Wavio Records handled the mixing and mastering.

Hello combines traditional African rhythms with modern Pop and RnB textures. Msiz’kay says the writing process was guided by the beat. He focused on capturing a natural feel and allowed the song to evolve as he worked on it.

The artist is already preparing his next project. His upcoming EP, Walk a Mile in My Shoes, is set for release early next year. The team is finalising the date, with a launch expected around February or March.

Hello is the first single from the EP. Msiz’kay explains that the project is different from his previous work because most of the songs are in English. His aim is to reach a wider international audience. He produced most of the EP alongside Taffy Gee. Their goal is to create a global sound while keeping the core elements that define the Msiz’kay style.

His long term plan is clear. He wants to introduce his signature sound to the UK through Wavio Records and build a strong global following from there.
